<p>I have been conveying this message to all new joiners to increase their MPXR:</p><ol><li>Avoid posting low-quality content on the wall, such as "Hi," "Hello," or "Good Morning." Such posts will be automatically deleted by the reputation system. Furthermore, they will reflect poorly on your profile, branding you as an "Expedient" user who is only here to manipulate the system, which is not desirable. This is a tech community and posting such super low quality and even degrading posts are offensive to the Reputation system they have built? Be yourself and post something interesting related to technology.</li><li>Read articles in all sections (Magazine, Community, News, Mindbytes), and then leave genuine comments. This is crucial. If you copy paste comment or keep posting "Nice", "Good", "Very interesting", "good project", and all similar cheap shots, the system will recognize these as generic comments, indicating that you're only commenting to earn points. The most likely outcome is either 1) it will be flagged as spamming, resulting in a deduction of -1 point, or 2) it will be flagged as expedient, resulting in zero points and a negative impact on your profile. Here my guess is that MPX is till using humans to moderate the comment because I have seen a detailed attention to this. Cheap comments are either spams or just expedient and both are really bad for you. </li><li>Visit the podcast section, listen to the podcasts, and then leave comments following the same advice. The key point here is to be authentic. Don't leave meaningless comments; be yourself. Remember, the system doesn't differentiate between positive or negative feedback; it only cares if the feedback is genuine.</li><li>Don't overlook the other forms of interaction (like, dislike, share, or emojis). The system rewards users for meaningful interactions and the time spent reading articles or listening to podcasts. The secret here is to interact at least after 1 minute, so you can receive at least 25% of the interaction points.</li></ol><p>Please, read the FAQ page and at least glance through the Reputation section.
