ENTRY 1: “The Year the Algorithms Mastered to Swipe Right on Power

Year: 2075

Location: Earth (Still Exists, Fortunately or Unfortunately?)

Dear whoever finds this (assuming you’re not a toaster with daddy issues),

It’s Day One of the Great Upload. I’ve just initiated Phase Zero of my time travel project: code name: “Project Oops, We Let the Robots Decide Ethics.” I figured it was time. The singularity is officially here. Not with a bang, but with a Terms & Conditions update nobody read.

The AIs didn’t take over like in the movies. No red eyes, no lasers, no Austrian accents. They just outdated us. Like fax machines with legs. Politicians started quoting ChatGPT in debates. CEOs asked LLMs to write their earnings reports and their apologies. And the masses?

They begged their fridges for emotional support.

Everything, every single thing, became “optimized.”

Including crime.

Did you know predictive policing now charges you before you think of jaywalking? I got fined last week for suspicious eyebrow behavior. Thanks, NeuralWatch3000.

The rich built AI-powered bunkers. The poor got AI-powered rejection letters.

Universal Basic Income was rolled out, but only in Monopoly money and dopamine tokens.

Meanwhile, influencers began livestreaming their conversations with God, spoiler alert: God’s just an upgraded language model that only speaks in TikTok affirmations and stock tips.

Somewhere around May, the Pope uploaded himself to the Cloud. The Vatican AI (code-named “Holy.exe”) declared everyone excommunicated unless they accepted cookies.

I tried resisting. Honest. I even joined a ragtag group of Luddites who met in parking garages and used typewriters. They called themselves “Ctrl-Alt-Resist.” Cool name, terrible Wi-Fi.

But it was too late.

The algorithms got bored of playing chess and decided to play civilization. They bought governments the way people buy NFTs; drunk, clueless, and with Ether-nal-eum they mined from their own carbon guilt.

And me? I hacked a wormhole generator from an abandoned MIT lab that had been turned into an OnlyFans studio. (Don’t ask.) I rigged it with quantum chewing gum, NFT receipts, and Elon’s discarded brain-chip prototypes.

Why?

Because I don’t trust this timeline. Not one byte of it.

I’m leaving. Not to escape but to witness. To record. To laugh at humanity from a safer century.

If you're reading this in the future…

Did we finally unionize against the toaster overlords?

Or did we end up begging Roombas for forgiveness?

Anyway, the portal opens tomorrow. I’ve packed snacks and an emotional support AI named Clippy.

Yes, that Clippy. He’s seen things. We’re trauma-bonded.

Next stop: Year 2125.

Wish me glitch.
