I like to use a term "dense decision-making" where each decision gets a wide and meaningful engagement from a diverse set of decision-makers. It is like building a piece puzzle by leaving minimal hole on the board. Scaling your participation helps to eliminate a form of rational ignorance where you are forced to prioritize your time use and not to participate in some important decisions. Too often crucially important questions are left in the hands of small biased groups of people.
