Loeb bolsters his argument with other anomalies, including the object's "anti-tail" that temporarily pointed toward the Sun, its unusual chemical signature showing high nickel content, and its statistically improbable large size for a random interstellar traveler. He concedes the likelihood of an artificial origin is only 30-40%, but argues these peculiarities warrant serious investigation.
