I know a bit about EEGs, wear a headset almost 24/7, learnt about brain maps and was still honestly surprised how far all that would go in the context of "coherency mapping". And I can only imagine of what kind of a system that modulation device would eventually be.
Nevertheless, I have little doubt that this is going to be an integral part of the future of healthcare and healing. It is actually quite fascinating as I just recently read a book "We Are Electric" from Sally Adee which started by describing the history electricity where Volta and Galvani fought about the fame and the existence of "animal electricity" (bio electricity). It is humbling to be alive today and see how the field is evolving.
What comes to these concepts of governance and social systems I'm even more excited but much much much more cautious. There is history over millenia where progress in natural science has been tried to apply in social organization. At least in grand scale nation wide experiments, the outcomes have usually been disappointments at best and devastating human tragedies at worst. "Let's set up a government think tank (and start experimenting)" sounds more like dark humor to me. Of course, there are many different ways to approach that too. That said, they have indeed been attempts (often with good intentions) to coordinate societies in a top down manner which is less of a case here. The approach would be quite different but would still require pretty fancy ways to keep track of the "cross-scale" coherency — like brain maps of social dynamics.
Starting with reshaping education systems, organization management and, very interestingly, tinkering in the web3 community and ecosystem governance frameworks sounds a potential path forward. Marco dropped a lot of wise words in the end and yes, learning really is a state of spirit.
And btw Mihaela, as you've a merited connector and know Charles well, maybe you can relay these guys toward his research and healthcare facilities at some point. Just as you said, friends in traditional pharma may not be too many.
