The New Fad of AI Isn’t Only Intelligent Systems – It’s Human-Centric Systems Essentially,

Read a text regarding how empathy is being factored into AI development. For someone dealing with sophisticated humanitarian settings, this is powerful. Picture AI that does not only evaluates risks, but comprehends trauma. The technology is not quite there yet, but there is rapid change. What do others feel about this? Is the move to enhance emotional responsiveness in AI systems a step forward, or a dangerous path?

Important! Thanks. Young human mind adapts to and survives in pretty much any circumstances. However, as living conditions have traditionally not really changed during a lifetime, we don't dynamically keep adapting well over our lives. In modern life, our cognition is basically a trauma factory. Brain structures that once enabled survival have become a burden. Evolution doesn't keep up with culture and technology.

AI can indeed make a big difference. Think of a system that has read all the world's psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, religious texts etc as well as knows your personal life history, worldviews and the way of thinking. It can help integrate our brains and rebuild vital connections in wonderfully beneficial ways. We desperately need that — at individual and collective levels.
