Which will come first - we figure out gamification of cleaning house, or invest household robots who will take care of it for us

Household robots might come first, and here is a jock from the future.
A woman bought a malfunctioning household robot that does nothing but sit down on the couch and repeatedly asks for a cold beer. After hours of rebooting and resetting, the woman gave up and shouted.
"You expect me to cook, clean, and do laundry, while you are sitting all day, waiting for me to bring you a beer. What kind of robot are you"?
The robot replied, "A patient one".
Of course I want my robot to clean protect and care for me too asap
