It is inspiring to see so much knowledge and wisdom from so many different eras of science and technology. A few comments: Synergistically combining biological human cognition, social decision-making structures and digital cognitions (new computational paradigms) designs is a big question for the near term future already. Seeing important relations between these components helps at harnessing the power of diverse systems. Also, it is exciting to discover how much substrate independence there really are for different types of cognitions.His thoughts on resonance as a balancer between the stability and plasticity of the brain sound very insightful and are worth studying more deeply. Being able to shed some light on emergent brain phenomena are becoming of increasingly high demand.Comments of improving our internal worlds were so at point. Uplifting our capability for beautiful experiences is lagging to technological development. Human mind is a kind of trauma engine that hinders reflection and adapts badly after the initial adaptation as a child. I expect AI to provide a lot of help with this relatively soon.Discussion of universal values is one of my favourite topics. Dr Goertzel has talked pretty extensively about the idea of "good guys usually win". I agree. Diversity leads to optionality (adaptivity) or increased complexification that in turn enable the system to operate succesfully in environments of uncertainty. Diversity-power, collaboration of independent agents, is the outcome of attributes such as acceptance, compassion or inclusivity. At least, this is about how I currently interpret it. Those takes on generative AI were sound in principle but somehow the appreciation for their tremendous value and utility wasn't quite present. Ones who don't utilize them in their own work will very soon be lagging behind. That said, I'm really interested to learn more of his lessons about operations and building of intelligent cognitions.
