Ropet feels warm and soft, much like a real pet. It uses an advanced AI model to learn about your personality, making each interaction special. It can keep a child company, support an elderly person, or just be a peaceful presence in a busy home. Ropet adapts to your emotions and surroundings with a camera in its nose and a microphone. It talks to you using ChatGPT when online, but keeps your privacy safe by handling most data on the device itself.
The robot also makes daily life fun by letting you earn points for new accessories and updates, ensuring it's always engaging. "Ropet isn't just sitting around," says the press release. "it grows with you, making your day brighter."
A loneliness pandemic?
Forbes and other technology news outlets have published positive reviews of Ropet. Futurist Ayesha Khanna notes that oneliness is more common than we might admit.
